Pre-burst neutrinos of gamma-ray bursters accompanied by high-energy photons

چکیده

Previous researches on high-energy neutrino events from gamma-ray bursters (GRBs) suggest a speed variation v(E)=c(1±E/ELV?) with ELV?=(6.4±1.5)×1017 GeV, together an intrinsic time difference ?tin=(?2.8±0.7)×102 s, which means that neutrinos come out about 300 s earlier than low-energy photons in the source reference system. Considering possibility pre-bursts of may be accompanied by photons, this work we search for photon emission 100 to 1000 before at analyzing Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope (FGST) data. We perform searching energies larger MeV, and find 14 48 GRBs known redshifts. Combining these 1.07TeV event observed Major Atmospheric Gamma Imaging Cherenkov telescopes (MAGIC), pre-burst stage long duration period several minutes high energy emissions GRB source.

High Energy Neutrinos from Cosmological Gamma-Ray Burst Fireballs

Observations suggest that g-ray bursts (GRBs) are produced by the dissipation of the kinetic energy of a relativistic fireball. We show that a large fraction, $10%, of the fireball energy is expected to be converted by photomeson production to a burst of ,1014 eV neutrinos. A km2 neutrino detector would observe at least several tens of events per year correlated with GRBs, and test for neutrino...

Gamma–Ray Bursters, Neutrinos, and Cosmology

Gamma ray burst (GRB) objects are now widely thought to be at cosmological distances, and thus represent enormous energy emission. Gamma ray spectra extending to GeV energies suggest the possiblity of accompanying neutrino emission, and there are several models proposed suggesting the potential detectability of such coincident neutrino bursts. With this in view, we examine possible measurements...

High-energy neutrinos from gamma ray bursts.

We treat high-energy neutrino production in gamma ray bursts (GRBs). Detailed calculations of photomeson neutrino production are presented for the collapsar model, where internal nonthermal synchrotron radiation is the primary target photon field, and the supranova model, where external pulsar-wind synchrotron radiation provides important additional target photons. Detection of greater, similar...

High Energy Photons, Neutrinos and Gravitational Waves from Gamma-Ray Bursts

A new era in Gamma-ray Burst (GRB) research opened in 1991 with the launch of the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory (CGRO), whose ground-breaking results have been summarized in [1]. The most significant results came from the all-sky survey by the Burst and Transient Experiment (BATSE) on CGRO, which recorded over 2700 bursts, complemented by data from the OSSE, Comptel and EGRET experiments, in th...

Cometary Knots and High Energy Photons and Neutrinos from Gamma Ray Bursts

The Hubble Space Telescope has recently discovered thousands of gigantic comet-like objects in a ring around the central star in the nearest planetary nebula. We suggest that such circumstellar rings exist around most stars. Collisions of the relativistic debris from gamma ray bursts in dense stellar regions with such gigantic comet-like objects, which have been stripped off from the circumstel...
